Broker doubles down on video marketing

MARIN COUNTY, Calif. – Oct. 31, 2016 – Marin County, Calif.-based Decker Bullock Sotheby’s International Realty has brought video marketing to a new level by turning the unveiling itself into a marketing event.
The broker, in conjunction with Chicago-based branding agency Evoker, created 14 short films that highlight the lives of his agents in an effort to make a human connection with prospects and subconsciously build trust.
The films didn’t just show up online, however. They premiered at the Lark Theater on Oct. 3, with red carpet arrivals, popcorn and a champagne reception.
“Our clients expect service,” says Kevin Daniel Dwyer, creative director at the brokerage. “They want trust and they value discretion. We are leaders in technology integration, but that’s not enough. We’re in the service business. These films are another tool offered to our forward-thinking agents and discerning clients.”
Dwyer says the films are “also works of art, which deserved a grand stage. Our film premiere was the first of its kind in real estate and we’re immensely proud of that.”
