Lennar pays $7.35 million for land near Disney World
The Miami-based home builder’s land borders a 911-acre public golf resort with three courses

Lennar Corp. paid $7.35 million for 38 vacant acres bordering a golf resort near Disney World. The home building company bought the former agricultural land from Magnolia Estates LLC for about $193,000 per acre. The Orlando Sentinel also reported that the land is bordered on three sides by a public golf resort called Orange County National Golf Center, located northwest of Disney World. Orange County National Golf Center, opened in 1997, spans 911 acres and encompasses a trio of golf courses, a driving range, villas and preserved wetlands. Miami-based Lennar also is building residential developments Storey Grove and SummerLake in the Orlando area. [Orlando Sentinel] – Mike Seemuth
